A birding first

We were surprised and thrilled today when a flock (12 plus) of cedar waxwings arrived in our backyard. They jockeyed with robins for drinks of water at the birdbaths. It's been so warm the past couple of days that the normally frozen water was thawed. What a rare treat to have these beautiful birds visit us.

A spur of the moment visit

We had a wonderful family dinner last night! Sheryl, Jim and Trenton came for a spur of the moment, much appreciated, visit. They, along with Jason, had just returned from their visit to Shairna and family in VA. Trenton enjoyed sitting at his "new" table. Uncle Jay and T read books in the above pic. That was Jim's and Jason's table and before that it belonged to the Wilson sisters. When our boys outgrew it, it was passed on to Carolyn's kids. Thanks, Chrysanne, for passing it back to us.
