It was wonderful to have all our NJ family here for our early Easter celebration, which may become an annual tradition since we plan to travel every spring. The weather was stormy, very rainy and windy, and was even worse in eastern NJ. Oliver and Trenton had fun looking all over for eggs. Oliver quickly learned to find one and continue searching.

They also received baskets with clothes, toys, and all sorts of goodies. Trenton's into Spiderman so he's looking forward to decorating eggs with Spiderman decals.

Peter and Chrysanne kept Trenton amused. Greatgrandma enjoyed being with the boys and all of us. We enjoyed our big meal at lunchtime but, alas, there are no pictures. We were focused on eating: ham, fresh kielbasa, veggie lasagna, hot cross buns, Irish soda bread (a blending of 2 holidays), strawberry-spinach salad, Mom's famous carrot-pineapple Jell-O salad, and delicious desserts.

The girls are outnumbered by the boys in our families so it's easy to fit all of us on the couch, with legs crossed deliberately.

Carolyn's reading a book about ladybugs to Oliver. She used to read it to her kids!
Here we are gathered for leftovers at dinnertime. Oliver had a long nap and was just delightful and quite entertaining afterwards. Trenton was thrilled to be allowed to play pool and darts downstairs with just his cousins. Glad the storm didn't prevent us from being together once again.
