On the way to Big Pine Key

Our first stop was with Mary and Hoppy. It was so cold it snowed (flurries) every day! That didn't matter much, though, as we always have a wonderful time with them.
Will's dog, Bocephus, a blue tick hound, has one brown eye and one blue eye!
A dam broke and the lake drained on the property near Aunt Jinny's but
we still enjoyed taking our usual walk.
 Bo stares intently at something.
They'd had rain recently so this extra water made for a clear reflection. John and Will had much to talk about since they are both so interested in the outdoors. There were two alligators on the far shore!
In the afternoon John and Will took the boat to a small lake where they
saw this big 'gator!
Will deftly caught this fence lizard. It has brilliant blue marks on its neck.
A second later it was a tasty treat for Will's barred rock chickens. Their eggs are extremely delicious!
It was, once again, a wonderful annual visit.
