Trenton came for a 2-night sleepover! We met up with Sheryl, Trenton and Jim on Thursday at a wonderful Japanese Steakhouse called Sawa in Long Branch. We celebrated my birthday with an excellent meal and then brought Trenton home with us. They came to get him this morning. It was rewarding and fun to have him here. What an incredible 2 1/2 year old!He's getting quite good at hitting the baseball.
Trenton loves putting peanuts out for the birds and squirrels. He also loves watching the squirrels come to the dangling corn by the door.
Something was very funny!
Trenton loves to watch the deer. He can spot them all by himself and when he does he calls out to us excitedly. Our backyard birds sure were happy to have us return and keep the feeders filled up. Trenton knows all of them, even which ones are the mommies and daddies.
It was fun to play at Alexandria Park. He' d been there once before and was happy to return. The rain started just after we arrived home for lunch.

Lots of great mid-laughter shots there! Who's that pregnant lady mean-muggin' the photographer? :-) So glad you enjoyed the time with your grandson, and we had a nice respite but were glad to have our buddy back!
