It was wonderful to travel to Howell on a cold, rainy day to spend some time with everyone after being away for a month. Last month Grampack taught Oliver how to press carefully on the back of an ant toy and send it flying as part of the "Ants in the Pants" game. Oliver remembered and wanted to play the game with Grampack right away. Above you can see how he carefully puts his finger in the correct place.

Oliver could catch the ball quite well after it bounced on the floor and onto his lap. Is Trenton catching or throwing the ball?
"Bathtime already?"
Trenton invented the game of rolling the Tinkertoy pieces on the floor. Daddy and Grampack took turns trying to see how many they could roll.
Trenton's tongue comes out when he concentrates, just like Grampack's.
Everyone enjoyed their Florida souvenirs especially the books (which you can see on the floor) and the Key lime candy. Sheryl had a very busy day, that's why she's not pictured. She worked out in the morning, then read books to Trenton's preschool class, fed everybody lunch, put Oliver down for a nap, took a hysterically crying Trenton to the doctor to get treatment for an ear infection, and then spent some time working on her paper for class before and after dinner. What a busy mom!

Trenton asked to play the "rapid fire rolling tinker toys game" the next day, of course.
We really liked reading the beach & sea books that you got. Great bed-time reading for T!
