This is what we woke up to - another 18 inches of heavy, wet snow.
The squirrel dug and tunneled in the snow under the peanut feeder but found only empty shells. Jay cleaned off the obstacle course later in the day and the squirrels made up for lost time.
The plowed snow almost covers our mail box. The paper carrier threw the paper on the bank but hey, at least it was delivered! In this picture you can't even tell where the driveway is. When John retrieved it he sunk in way over his boots.
Jay shovels the deck off after every storm so we can keep feeding the birds.
The plowed snow at the street is about 5 feet high. Luckily we have plenty of room to blow this much snow. John and Jay split up this massive chore.
Cleaning off the cars was a big job for Jay this time. The snow-covered trees looked pretty when the sun came out.
That's deep snow!
We've had two more days of wet snow since this big storm but it didn't stick to the roads. Another storm is predicted for mid-week!

Beautiful pics. I was remarking to Sheryl the other day that this storm resulted in more snow stuck to tree branches (at least by us) than I can remember seeing. Many branches were still covered with snow 4 days after the storm. Looks like we'll get a little more tonight....
