We arrived in Pittsfield, Vermont, on Thursday before John's and Jim's races. We had vacationed with the boys in this area twice before and they remember canoeing and fishing on Kent Pond, above.
We were able to camp free of charge at the farm where the race was going to be held. Thursday was warm and sunny, very nice.
Sheryl, Jim, Trenton and Oliver arrived in time for a delicious dinner at the nearby General Store.
Oliver enjoyed bouncing after the long car ride.
