We're having a wonderful time with Kay and Jerry at Big Pine Key Fishing Camp and Lodge. The weather is typical - 80s, humid, mostly sunny, and breezy. We've fished every day so far! The first night we fished under the bridge. The next morning we fished just around the bend for pinfish to use as live bait. In the afternoon we fished in the bay and caught about 10 types of beautiful and edible fish. Our fish fry dinner was excellent. Yesterday we fished in the bay all afternoon, catching mostly grunts. They were excellent eating. Jerry hooked into this beautiful shark using a live pinfish for bait. It gave him a good fight. Later he hooked into a spinner shark. It jumped, spun and made a huge splash. I've been too busy fishing to take pictures. We also saw a huge sea turtle and 2 porpoises.
