The picture above is of a mature male orchard oriole. You can't see how red his breast is, but it's a very pretty bird.
Believe it or not, this is the same species of bird! It's a first year male orchard oriole. They sure change dramatically!
This beauty is a summer tanager.
Our campsite was just perfect for birdwatching. There were live oaks, mahogany, bottle brush and palm trees all around us.
