Reef Fishing, Key Deer, Snorkeling

I caught this hard-fighting bonita out on the reef the other day during our "cold spell".
John caught a couple of large yellowtails.
The little Key deer are quite tame. Many people give them carrots even though they're not supposed to. We leave a dishpan of water out for them right behind the camper door. When we go in and out of the camper they don't even stop drinking!
Snorkeling was fantastic yesterday! No pictures, just wonderful memories. It's such a unique, rewarding experience - swimming with the fish, observing them, being a part of the underwater world. We saw Moray eels, barracuda, a big grouper, many yellowtails and many various tropical fish. Coral is fascinating, so varied - purple fans that wave in the current, huge ones that look like brains, ones that stick up like pipes - all teeming with aquatic life.
